It is obtained by esterification of trichloroacetic acid ethanol. Heat trichloroacetic acid, absolute ethanol and sulfuric acid together for 6 hours. After cooling, pour into water to separate the ester layer, neutralize with 5-10% sodium carbonate solution, wash with water, add anhydrous calcium chloride and dry overnight. After filtration, distillation is carried out to obtain the finished product. 75% yield.
